Garrett W. Waterman 18, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly in Bellows Falls, Vermont, on Thursday, June 29, 2017. He was born on July 13, 1998, in Claremont, New Hampshire, the son of Matthew W. and Mirinda L. (Wharton) Waterman. He attended Springfield High School, Bellows Falls Union High School and U-32 in East Montpelier.
Garrett was employed as a welder/fabricator with Frank the Welder in Bellows Falls.
He enjoyed motocross and was a history and geography buff.
He is survived by his father Matthew Waterman, and stepmother Justina, mother Mirinda Waterman and stepfather Chad Sanborn; two brothers, Damian Sanborn and Carter Waterman; one sister, Rylea Waterman; paternal grandparents, Ruth and Ernie Titus and Eben Waterman; and step-maternal grandmother Louanne Wharton. Also by several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Clyde "Bill" Wharton and maternal grandmother Lydia Wharton.
Friends may call at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield on Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m.
