Kevin L. Richardson



Kevin L. Richardson, 59, of Springfield, died Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

He was born Dec. 30, 1958, in Springfield, the son of Lee L. and Jean A. (Whight) Richardson.

He graduated in 1977 from Springfield High School.

Mr. Richardson was employed at Idlenot Dairy in North Springfield for many years and for the past 13 years, was a truck driver for the State of Vermont Highway Department, plowing the interstate during the winter months.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a fan of NASCAR, the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and Miami Dolphins.

Survivors include his parents, of Springfield; and a sister, Karen Aebi, of North Springfield.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield, with Ernest "Puggy" Lamphere officiating.

Arrangements are by Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.

Ronald D. Pellerin



Ronald Dwyer Pellerin, 76, passed away on June 30, 2018 at his home in Charlestown. He was born on October 24, 1941 in Springfield, Vermont, the son of Forrest Alden and Marjorie Ruth (Dwyer) Pellerin.

He worked for 32 years at Holmes Trucking as a truck driver. He enjoyed being outdoors, he loved hunting and fishing. Ronald was also a great grandfather.

His family includes his three grandchildren, Anthony K. Pellerin, Savanna E. Pellerin, and Ashland M. Pellerin; brothers, Jim Pellerin and his wife, Judy, Gary Pellerin and his wife, Brenda, John Pellerin, and Mike Pellerin.

He was predeceased by his wife, Marie Louise Pellerin and his sons, Anthony Kirk Pellerin and Ronald “Rocky” Pellerin.

A graveside service will be held at the Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown on Monday July 9th at 10 AM with Pastor Harold Noyes officiating.

Phillip N. Streeter



Phillip Norman Streeter, 85, of Snowflake, Arizona, passed away at his home on Feb. 15, 2018. He was born on May 30, 1932, in North Springfield, Vt., to his parents Charles and Mary (Guild) Streeter.

A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, at the Concho Valley Community Church, located at 36650 Highway 61, in Concho. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m.

Burial will take place at a later date at the Pine Grove Cemetery in North Springfield, Vt.

Phillip worked as a mover for J.M. Giddings Trucking then was a truck driver for Northeast Riggers. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army, where he served during the Korean War. His hobbies were woodworking and gardening.

He was a member of Concho Valley Community Church and attended Advent Christian Church in North Springfield, Vt.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Ballard) Streeter of Snowflake; sister, Mary Nelson of Port St. Joe, Fla.; daughters, Debbie (Michael) Knox of Fairfield, Maine, Lisa (Mark) Callaghan of Apache Junction, Wendy (Michael) Blish of Phoenix; son, Eric Streeter of Putney, Vt.; adopted daughter, Marion Ellen Smith DeStellano of White River Junction, Vt; grandchildren, Devan and Kassady Smith, Jennifer Coolidge and Daniel Knox; and great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Jason Coolidge, and Addy and Tully Starger-Knox.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Janet Anderson Streeter; and brothers, Charles Russell and Alfred Streeter.

Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements.

The graveside service for Phillip Streeter, 85, formerly of North Springfield, who died Feb. 15, 2018, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, in Pine Grove Cemetery in North Springfield.

The Rev. Floyd McIntyre will officiate.

Reception follows at the Advent Christian Church, Church Street, North Springfield.

Local arrangements are by Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.

Jonathan B. Holden



Jonathan B. Holden passed away on Monday morning September 18, 2017 at the Springfield Health and Rehab. Center in Springfield, Vermont after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born August 13, 1956 in Springfield, Vermont the son of Kenneth and Carolyn (DeCell) Holden. He attended Springfield schools, graduating from Springfield High School class of 1974.

He was employed as a Machinist with the Bryant Grinder Company in Springfield, Vermont for 20 years, and most recently as a Truck Driver with St. Pierre in Charlestown, New Hampshire for 15 years.

He enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid hunter, enjoyed riding motorcycles and was always willing to lend a hand and help anyone who needed help. He is survived by his son Shawn Holden of Chester, Vt. 3 daughters – Emily Raymond of Essex Jct., Vt. Merideth Comchan of TN., and Ashley Hennessey of Boynton Beach, Fl. 1 brother Randy Holden and his wife Terry of Andover, Vt. 7 grandchildren – Alexis, Madison, Sam, David, Connor, Lauren, and Patrick. Nephew Chris, and nieces – Vanessa, Valerie, Melissa, and Michele.

He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Carolyn and brothers Kenneth and Ron.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday September 30, 2017 at the Plain Cemetery in Perkinsville, Vt. Reverend Dave Young will officiate. A celebration of life gathering will follow at K.J.’s in North Springfield.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vermont.

Rodney W. Litchfield



Rodney W. Litchfield 66, of Castleton, died Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Rutland Regional Medical Center after a long illness surrounded by his family.

He was born May 15, 1950 in Springfield, VT the son of William G. and Barbara (Burton) Litchfield.

Rodney was a graduate of Springfield High School class of 1968. He married Corrina Taylor July 23, 1994, in Poultney.

A longtime truck driver, Rodney was employed for many years at Cumberland Farms and J & J Trucking.

Rodney was an avid hunter and was a hunting guide in Idaho for Clearwater Outfitters and also enjoyed big game hunts in Zimbabwe. He was also a bee keeper, loved telling stories and was a member of the Rutland County R.C. Flyers.

He is survived by his wife Corrina, of Castleton, his mother Barbara Litchfield, of Springfield, by his daughter, Tawnya Eaton and husband Paul of Fair Haven, by his step son Stephen Taylor and wife Tammy of Fair Haven, by his siblings, Bonnie Sue Munson and husband Jeff Hoyt of Glendale, AZ, Terrance Litchfield, of Benson, Thomas Litchfield of Clariton, IA and Paul Litchfield of Springfield, VT, by his grandchildren, Michael Doner, Aaron and Elias Eaton. Also by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and his former wife Eva Kendall.

He was predeceased by his father and his daughter Susan Litchfield who died Nov. 18, 1996.

There will be no services at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rutland County Humane Society at 765 Stevens Road, Pittsford, VT 05763 or to the Rutland Area Visiting Nurse & Hospice at 7 Albert Cree Drive, Rutland, VT 05701.
