Joshua E. Bates

Joshua Eric Bates, 34, of Charlestown, NH, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 23, 2018 in Springfield, VT. He was born in Hanover, NH on July 19, 1984, the son of Arthur S. and Tamra L. (Snide) Bates. Joshua graduated with his high school diploma in 2003. Joshua worked in maintenance for 100 River Street, LLC in Springfield, VT the past two years. Previously, he was a painter in the area for several years. Joshua had a passion for BMX bikes and riding and loved Mustangs. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Besides his parents, with whom he lived in Charlestown, NH, he leaves two daughters, Kristin and Kyleigh Bates of Somersworth, NH; his sister, Christina Bates of Claremont, NH; his maternal grandparents, Edward Snide of Guilford, Maine and Katherine Gault of Lake Alfred, Florida; his paternal grandmother, Jean Bates of Charlestown, NH; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Arthur W. Bates.

At Joshua’s request, no services are planned. Donations in Joshua’s memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.

Joshua may be gone but will never be forgotten. Love, Dad, Mom, Christina, family and friends.

Andrew J.Tlaker

On July 23, 2018, a beautiful heart that was quick to love, quick to laugh, quick to embrace adventure, quick to feel compassion and quick to forgive, grew weary and needed to finally rest.

Andrew James Tlaker was born Sept. 14, 1967, in Springfield, Vermont. He attended schools in Saxons River and Springfield. Andrew was among the first of individuals with developmental disabilities to attend public schools in Springfield, graduating from SHS in 1989. Following graduation, Andrew continued his path of ‘leading the way’ by being one of the first to take part in an Individualized Community Integration Program where he participated in volunteer and employment activities within his community. During his career in his program, he had duties at the First National Bank, Young’s Furniture, Biben’s Hardware, The Food Co-op, and Convalescent Center. In 2008, Andrew moved to Baldwinsville, New York, where he continued to be involved in an Individualized Program; he volunteered at the Beaver Lake Nature Center, library and senior complex.

Andrew was a well-travelled man. He hugged the great redwoods of California, ran like the Six Million Dollar Man on the beaches of Oregon, went to outer space at Disney, felt the mist of Niagara Falls, and Boston was ‘his kind of town.’ He was also an artist; preferring watercolor. His painting titled Blue Moon was part of an exhibit shown at the Russell Rotunda in Washington, DC. Not stopping at travel and creativity, Andrew was also a Special Olympics medalist, competing and receiving medals in basketball. He could throw the ball backwards and make his shot just about every time!

Andrew enjoyed being with people and being active. He loved music and dancing. He also enjoyed canoeing, basketball, bowling and above all, glow golf. Most importantly, he was a huge fan of Star Trek and Dr. Who, knowing how the script will run for each episode of either show.

Andrew had a way of affecting people in a profound way. He was charismatic and charming with a great sense of humor, but above all, sincere in affection. He loved abundantly and lived in the moment. He taught us so much about acceptance and caring. He leaves a great void in the lives he touched; his presence will be greatly missed.

Andrew was predeceased by his father, Erich Tlaker; and his grandmother ( mum- mum), Minnie Lefevre.

Left to mourn his loss are his mother, Jean Tlaker; brother, Norman (Martha) Tlaker, nephew Conrad; sister Anne Tlaker (Michael) Hall; sister Jane Tlaker (Peter) MacDonald, niece Jennifer and nephew Ryan.

Andrew’s family would like to thank all the extraordinary people n Andrew’s life who contributed to a ‘life well-lived:’ his support team at Advocates Inc. (Reina and Leslie); mentors Anne G., Gayle B., Maureen D., Tracy S., Veena K., Brenda C. and Todd N.; Tammy and Dan at bowling; all his special friends at Wegman’s (Karen, Dorothy, to name a few), Tops, McDonalds; and all the various “stops” along his daily routine.

Special thanks to Dr. Frank Smith and the outstanding team at Pediatric Cardiology Assocaites who went beyond all calls of duty and exhibited such love and affection for Andrew. We are left humbled by you all.

A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 5, at 2 p.m. at Maurer Funeral Home, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests doing a random act of kindness in the spirit of Andrew’s kind and loving heart. Donations can also be made to Special Olympics or Advocates Inc.

Take wing, dear sweet Andrew, time for your soul to take flight to the Final Frontier.

Donald J. Breslend

Donald Joseph Breslend, 92, died Monday, July 23, 2018, at Springfield Health & Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by family.

He was born Jan. 21, 1926, in North Walpole, New Hampshire, the son of Harry and Bridget (Gallager) Breslend.

He graduated from Bellows Falls High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in the Battle of the Bulge in the 35th Infantry. He was awarded a Purple Heart, and a Medal of Honor from the French Foreign Legion.

On Feb. 19, 1955, Mr. Breslend married Stacia Balous in Springfield.

He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for the Railway Mail and later, as a supervisor at Springfield Post Office.

He was a member of Robert L. Johnson VFW Post 771 and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #679, both in Springfield.

Mr. Breslend enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife and a son, Michael Breslend, both of Springfield; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers John and William Breslend.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield, with the Rev. Gerry Piper officiating.

F. Miriam Donegan

F. Miriam Donegan, 99, died Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Gill Odd Fellows Home in Ludlow.

She was born Sept. 2, 1918, in Saint Stephen New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Charles P. and Alice L. (Cahill) Hayman.

She graduated in 1936 from Manning High School in Ipswich, Massachusetts, and in 1941 from Salem State College. After graduation, she began her teaching career at Shatswell and Winthrop schools in Ipswich.

On March 27, 1943, she married Lt. John F. Donegan.

Mrs. Donegan worked as a substitute teacher in Springfield schools for 24 years, retiring in 1982.

She served as a member of Springfield Planning Committee and belonged to the Home Demonstration Club.

She enjoyed feeding and watching birds, gardening and doing crossword puzzles.

Survivors include three children J. Richard Donegan, of Litchfield, New Hampshire, David Donegan, of Groton, New Hampshire, Jane Canale; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Donegan was predeceased by her husband May 28, 2011.

The memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 4, at Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield where a calling hour begins at 11 a.m. prior to the service officiated by the Rev. Gerry Piper.

Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield.

Howard R. Parry

Howard R. Parry 81, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday morning July 21, 2018 at the Elm Wood Center in Claremont, N.H. He was born May 15, 1937 in Bartonsville, Vermont the son of Everett D. and Gladys A. (Putt) Parry. He attended school in Bellows Falls, Vt.

He served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1958.

Howard was married to Jane E. Kendall, she predeceased him in 2000.

He worked as a Carpenter, Painter and Mason with various local contractors including Wiggins Construction and Beaudry Construction.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was a master at repairing things and was a great story teller, He enjoyed visiting with friends and family.

He is survived by his children : Sheila M. Parry of Springfield, Randall H. Parry of Chester, and Rennay L. Parry of Springfield. His siblings : Theodore E. Parry and wife Molly of Allenstown, N.H., Barbara E. Elliot and her husband William of Deltona, Fl., Wayne C. Parry of Cornish, N.H. , Lee A. Parry of Hopkinton, N.H., and Richard A. Parry and wife Terry of Springfield, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his longtime companion and caregiver Robin Knight of Springfield and her children : Jim, Dan and Tom, and grandchildren Owen, Nathen, and Aubri. And by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by siblings : Charlotte M. Parry in 1953 , Whanitta G. Parry in 2015, Charlene M. Parry in 2017, and Levi N. Parry in 2018.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Sunday July 29, 2018 at the New Westminster Cemetery in Westminster, Vt. A reception will follow at the Westminster East Parish on Main St. in Westminster, Vt.

Glenna W. Sargent

Glenna W. Sargent, 85, of Chittenden, died Saturday, July 21, 2018, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 2, 1932, in Rutland, the daughter of Glendon and Edna (Wright) Wilder.

She graduated from Rutland High School in 1951 and Rutland Business College.

She married Gene Sargent on Aug. 15, 1959.

Mrs. Sargent had been employed by Lincoln Iron Works and as the activities director for Community Care Network in Springfield. She owned and operated 2 Sargents Real Estate and Chester Appliances prior to her retirement.

She was a 4-H volunteer leader for several years and a member of the Chittenden Senior Group.

Mrs. Sargent enjoyed acrylic painting, flowers and hanging out with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Gene of Chittenden; daughters Glenna Jean Cole of Perkinsville, Janet VanAlstyne of Chester, Paula Ann Sargent of Mendon; a son Matthew J. Sargent of Springfield; a sister Jane Coburn of Whitehall; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister Lorraine Merrill.

Memorial services will be held at noon Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Barstow Memorial School Hall. Burial will follow in the Horton Cemetery.

Heather L. Byrne

Heather L. Byrne, 49, died Thursday, July 19, 2018, at her home.

She was born March 9, 1969, in Springfield, the daughter of George R. and Sally (Lengyel) Trombly.

She graduated in 1987 from Springfield High School.

Ms. Byrne worked as a waitress in the area for many years, and was employed most recently as an LNA at Cedar Hill Health Care Center in Windsor.

Survivors include her father and stepmother Mary, her mother and stepfather Ernest Mas, her son, Joseph Byrne, all of Springfield; siblings Shane Mas, of Weathersfield, Matthew Trombly, of White River Junction, Benjamin Trombly, Meghan Reiss, both of Medford, Massachusetts; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Priscilla E. Peck

Priscilla E. Peck 83, passed away on Sunday evening July 15, 2018 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. She was born January 11, 1935 in New Britain, Connecticut the daughter of Irving O. and Mabel A. (Bennett) Johnson. She graduated from Middletown High School in Middletown, Connecticut and later from Central Connecticut State College.

She worked as a Secretary at Wesleyan University for many years.

She moved to Orwell, Vermont where she owned and operated a Dairy Farm with her husband for several years.

She later moved to Springfield, Vermont and most recently resided in Chester, Vermont.

Priscilla was an active member of the Charlestown, N.H. Senior Center for many years. She was a very loving and caring person, always looking out for her neighbors and her friends. She loved all animals and loved her dog Lucky.

She is survived by her brother Glen Johnson of Cromwell, Ct. two grandchildren – Stephanie and Wyatt Traverse, and niece Kimberly Brisson. She was predeceased by her daughter Kathleen D. (Peck) Traverse.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday July 23, 2018 at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vermont. Reverend Malcolm Fowler Pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church in Springfield will officiate.

Kevin C. Fitchett

Kevin Curtis Fitchett, 32, died Saturday, July 14, 2018, at his home. He was born March 5, 1986, in Claremont, N.H. son of Angela Jean Stocker and Christopher Albert Fitchett. He enjoyed canoeing, hiking, camping, and skateboarding. He also enjoyed working with his Poppa on lawn and garden equipment. His buddy was his dog Maximus.

He worked for many years at Hypertherm.

He is survived by his mother Angela, father Christopher, step-mother Mary, sister Nicole, sister-in-law Ashley, step-sister Danyle Locke, step-brother Wesley Locke, grandparents Ray and Lena Stocker and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins, one niece and four nephews.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Herbert and Florence Fitchett.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Cavendish Village Cemetery in Cavendish, Vt.

Marie T. Lambert

Marie Teresa Lambert, the beloved daughter and only child of Wilfred Alfred Lambert and Teresa (Beauvais) Lambert of Lyndon VT, was born on August 14, 1935 in Springfield, VT. She completed her earthly journey on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in the company of her dearest friend, Celine Larouche.

Marie attended elementary school in Lyndon and graduated from Springfield Vermont High School with the Class of 1953. She enrolled in the School of Education at Lyndon State College and graduated in 1957 with a BS in Elementary Education. Marie then attended Wayne State University in Detroit, MI to specialize in the education of children with special needs.

Marie began her teaching career in Keene NH, retiring in 1987 after 30 years as a Special Education Teacher. She continued to teach part time in NH and at St. Francis Xavier Elementary School in Winooski, VT. She was also a fulltime caregiver for her terminally ill friend and colleague, Patricia Going in VT. As a young woman, Marie was a staff member at Camp Marycrest in Grand Isle VT. During several summers, she taught the flute and recorder, along with arts and crafts. Marie was an accomplished flutist, an aspiring guitarist, and an avid photographer, whose camera was her constant companion.

Marie was a devout and active Catholic. She participated in choirs, liturgy, and various church organizations and activities. She readily helped and supported those in need. In her later years, Marie resided in Essex Junction, VT until she suffered a life altering accident from which she never fully recovered. She later lived at Our Lady of the Meadows in Richford, VT and spent her last years at St. Albans Health and Rehab Center.

Marie will long be remembered for her friendly, genuine attitude and her faithful service to Church and her profession. The legacy she leaves as sweet, lovable, talented Marie will long be cherished by all who knew her. She was a living example to everyone and showed remarkable courage throughout the sudden loss of her independence and¬ life as she knew it. She lived her sweet loving spirit every day until the end. "Rest in the peace of the Lord "dear Marie. We love you and will miss you. Until we meet again!

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 18 at 11am in St. Simon Catholic Church in Abercorn , Quebec, Canada. Marie will be buried at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery, Springfield, VT. Arrangements are by Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Home in Burlington, VT.

Marie is survived by her lifetime friend and faithful companion, Celine Larouche and her Quebec Family in Sutton. She is also survived by her cousins: Gail Niemyski and Ron Beauvais of North Carolina and two special friends: Sister Cathleen Going, OP and Shirley Verltullo. Shane L. Gilman

Shane L. Gilman, 45, formerly of Gassetts, Vt. died unexpectedly at his home in Springfield on July 11, 2018. He was born in Springfield, Vermont on November 29, 1972, son of Roy E. and Jacqueline (Gomez) Gilman, and graduated from Springfield High School with the class of 1994.

Shane enjoyed mountain biking, fishing and cooking. He also liked playing video games, operating remote controlled (RC) cars, and listening to classic rock.

Survivors include his mother, Jacqueline Gilman of Springfield, Vermont and his father, Roy Gilmam of Ludlow, Vermont; a sister, Crystal Gilman of Bethlehem, NH and a brother Shawn Gilman of Springfield, Vermont; three aunts, Janet Gomez of Weathersfield, Vermont, Sheila Stanton and her husband, Everett of Baltimore, Vermont and Faye Miner of Proctorsville, Vermont; an uncle Wayne Gomez of Williamstown, Vt. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kevin L. Richardson

Kevin L. Richardson, 59, of Springfield, died Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

He was born Dec. 30, 1958, in Springfield, the son of Lee L. and Jean A. (Whight) Richardson.

He graduated in 1977 from Springfield High School.

Mr. Richardson was employed at Idlenot Dairy in North Springfield for many years and for the past 13 years, was a truck driver for the State of Vermont Highway Department, plowing the interstate during the winter months.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a fan of NASCAR, the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and Miami Dolphins.

Survivors include his parents, of Springfield; and a sister, Karen Aebi, of North Springfield.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield, with Ernest "Puggy" Lamphere officiating.

Howard D. Hill

Howard D. Hill, 86, died Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the Gill Odd Fellows Home in Ludlow.

He was born May 28, 1932, the son of Harry E. and Eva (Washburn) Hill, in Andover, where he attended local schools.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era.

On April 7, 1956, he married Marlene L. Liberty in North Springfield.

Mr. Hill was employed as a machinist with Lovejoy Tool Co. for 38 years.

He was a member of Robert L. Johnson VFW Post 771 in Springfield.

He enjoyed snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, camping, and was a member of Hawk's Mountain Ridge Riders.

Survivors include his wife, of Ludlow; five children Howard Hill II, of Northwood, New Hampshire, Daniel and Lorrie Hill, both of North Springfield, Nancy Barror, of Springfield, Stephanie Lewis, of Woodstock; seven siblings Patricia Gannaway, Barry, Roy, Harry, Ruby, Doris and Darlene Hill; 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

Mr. Hill was predeceased by four siblings Vivian Currier, Mabel King, George and Darl Hill.

The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, where a calling hour will begin at 1 p.m. prior to the service officiating by the Rev. George Keeler.

Ruth K. Dunning

Ruth King Dunning, 101, died peacefully Saturday July 7, 2018 at Cedar Hill Nursing Home in Windsor. She was born Ruth Virginia King on July 29, 1916 in New York City, the daughter of Carol and Frank King.

A remarkable student, Ruth attended public schools in New York graduating high school at age 15 and acquiring her bachelors of education degree from Hunter College at 19. She would go on to earn her master’s degree later during her 40 year career as a public school teacher.

As a young woman her summers were often spent in the upstate New York community of Copake where she met Richard Dunning a local dairy farmer. The two were married on June 27, 1941. Together they raised 5 boys. In 1943 they purchased an old farmhouse at the end of a rutted mountain road in Barnard, Vermont and so began the legacy of the Dunning Camp which has been a focal point for gatherings of the expanded Dunning family for 75 years.

Ruth loved all things in nature and her household often included wild animals rescued injured and nursed back to health with her tender care. The Dunning home was filled with house plants and the yard perennials and fruit trees. She was a devoted mother to her five sons and a loving wife for 71 years until Richard’s passing in 2011 at the age of 91. Survivors include her sons; Bruce Dunning of Kirkville, NY, Leigh Dunning of Port Henry, NY, David Dunning of New London, NH, Glenn Dunning of Brookfield, VT and Larry Dunning of Claremont, NH, their wives, 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Friends are welcome to join family members Friday evening July 13 from 6 – 8 PM at the Davis Chapel Chapel, 99 Summer St. in Springfield or at the graveside service Saturday July 14 at 11 a.m. at the Windward Cemetery off of the North Road in Barnard. Reverend Mike Boy of Ascutney will officiate.

Irena Obdrzalek

Irena Obdrzalek, 67, passed way at her home Friday, July 6, 2018. She was born Dec. 1, 1950 in Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Miloslav and Gertruda (Bednarik) Krmasek. She attended schools in Czechoslovakia, earning a degree in accounting.

On July 19, 1975, she married Bohumil “Bob” F. Obdrzalek.

In 1986, she moved to Springfield, Vt. In 1990, she and her husband opened Bottle Redeemers in Springfield where she was owner, operator, and bookkeeper.

She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and reading.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years Bohumil “Bob” Obdrzalek of Springfield, one son Jan Obdrzalek of Springfield, one daughter Alice Mills of Essex, Vt., three grandchildren, and one sister Alena Vlcek.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Oakland Cemetery in Springfield, Vt.

Mary M. Durand, 90, died Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Springfield Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 11, 1928, in Springfield, the daughter of Charles and Helen (Welcome) May.

She graduated from Springfield High School.

On July 27, 1948, she married Conrad M. Durand in Springfield.

Mrs. Durand worked as an LNA at Springfield Hospital for many years.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles and watching old western movies.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Durand, of Springfield; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers Edward, Lawrence and William May; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Jan. 21, 2000; a son, Keith Durand; and a granddaughter.

The graveside service will be held at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery in North Springfield.

Bonnie L. Blake

Bonnie L. Blake, formally of Weathersfield, Vermont, passed away July 2, 2018. She was born April 20, 1948 in Springfield, Vermont and was the daughter of the late Urban M. Harvey and his wife Arlene Harvey. She was a graduate of Springfield High School. Upon graduating from high school, Bonnie worked at Fellows Gear Shaper. She spent most of her career employed by TD Bank Bellows Falls and retired as Vice President.

She was an active member in her community and enjoyed the work she did as a member of the Springfield Garden Club. She loved her travels to Maine and particularly enjoyed time spent during the summers in York Beach strolling Long Sands. Golf and shopping were additional favorite past times. She loved the Christmas holiday and spreading that joy to others. She always cherished time spent with her friends. Bonnie would always take the extra time going above and beyond helping her customers at the bank and enjoyed catching up with each of them. Her greatest joy in life was the moments spent with her two grandchildren; reading to them, coloring with them or taking part in their interests.

She is survived by her brother Bernard Harvey and stepbrother Richard King; her daughter Tanya Jones and her husband Chris, and her grandchildren Brady and Hannah.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018 at The Inn at Weathersfield, 1342 VT Route 106, Perkinsville from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Brian A. Haskell

Brian A. Haskell, 70, of Laurel Avenue, passed away peacefully at his home on July 1, 2018. Brian was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on December 6, 1947, the son of LeRoy and Catherine (Cavanaugh) Haskell. He was a 1965 graduate of Bellows Falls Union High School, the University of Vermont, and earned his master's degree in education from Keene State College in 1974. Brian was a teacher at Riverside Middle School in Springfield, Vermont for 42 years. He was a member of the BPOE 119 and a past exalted ruler in 1977-1978, the American Legion Post 37, the Polish American Club and the Polish Roman Catholics of America. Brian coached in the Connecticut Valley Pee Wee League for 37 years and was head official of the VPA at times throughout his lengthy officiating career.

Brian is survived by bis wife, Brenda Pease McGowan and her children, Eric and William; his sons, Casey Haskell and wife Misty of Bellows Falls and Cory Haskell and wife Janelle of Rockingham; grandsons Wylee, Ozzee, Caden and Brennen; brother, Kent "Grump" Haskell and wife Rose of Bellows Falls; sisters Brenda Stack and husband Michael of Saxton's River and Judith Haskell-Patch and husband David of Wallingford; and many nieces and nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his first wife, Susan (Mellish), brother Gary "Moe" Haskell and stepdaughter, Elizabeth McGowan.

There will be calling hours on Wednesday July, 11 from 5-8 p.m. at Fenton and Hennessy Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 12 at 1 p.m. at the United Church of Bellows Falls, with a reception immediately following at the church. A burial will be at a later date.

Darlene Y. Lique

Darlene Y. Lique, 79, died Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Springfield Hospital.

She was born Aug. 5, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Buster Odell and Virginia L. Daniels.

She was employed as a House of Lloyds sales representative for many years, a nursing assistant in home health care and Hanson Court Nursing Home and also worked at American Optical and Whitney Blake.

On June 7, 2003, she married Daniel R. Lique in Springfield.

Mrs. Lique enjoyed playing bingo, cards, Yahtzee and going on car rides.

Survivors include her husband; six children Katherine and Dennis Gallagher Jr., Louanne Kulpa, Ann Marie Morrison, Virgina Bessette, Sharon Cenate; stepchildren Jason and Angelique Lique; two brothers William and Kevin Daniels; two sisters Robin and Cheryl Daniels; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by two children Cindy and Maynard Cenate Jr.; and two brothers Larry and Tommy Daniels.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, in Pleasant View Cemetery in Chester.

Arrangements are by Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
