SPRINGFIELD - Alexander Michael "Alec" Levlocke, 52, died Friday, March 3, 2017, surrounded by his family.
He was born Aug. 10, 1964, in Springfield, the son of Nicholas and Jacquiline (Walker) Levlocke.
He graduated from Springfield High School, attended Champlain College in Burlington, and earned a marketing degree from Northeastern University in Boston. Mr. Levlocke helped manage a family rental property business and was a bartender at several Okemo Mountain area restaurants, including Willy Dunn's and The Loft.
He enjoyed lawn and garden work, playing cribbage, Vermont history and architecture, hiking and boating on the Connecticut River. Survivors include his mother, of Springfield; two brothers, Thomas Levlocke, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Nicholas Levlocke III, of Springfield; two aunts and numerous cousins.
His father predeceased him in 1988.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, with the Rev. Peter Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield.
