Rodney L. Page, 71, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
He was born Nov. 8, 1945, in Springfield, the son of Walden F. and Louise M. (Grover) Page.
He graduated from Springfield High School in 1963 and from Nathaniel Hawthorne College with a degree in business.
Mr. Page served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam.
He was employed with General Electric in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, monitoring satellite systems. He worked as a sales representative with Jones & Lamson Machine Tool Co., Bryant Grinder Co. and Toyoda Co.
He was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader in Springfield, as well as a foster parent for many years.
Mr. Page enjoyed restoring classic cars, motor sports and furniture refinishing.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda of Springfield; son Sean of Baltimore, Vermont; a grandson; two siblings David Page of Baltimore, Maryland, and Candice Cook of Chester; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The celebration of his life will be announced at a later date in 2017. Memorial contributions may be made to Springfield Humane Society, 401 Skitchewaug Trail, Springfield, VT 05156. Arrangements are by Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
