I grew up next door for several years to Mr. And Mrs. Lee. They were always very kind and enjoyed showing me the wonders of their beautiful greenhouse on Wall Street. Mr. Lee showed me his antique bottles (he taught me the difference between blown glass and molded by looking for seams) and Mrs. Lee love showing me her herb garden and the old-fashioned antique rotary phone they still used every day. Betty was very kind and my mother made fast friends with her. I am so sorry to hear of Betty's passing .She was a wonderful person. Godspeed Mrs. Lee, Melvin is waiting for you.
