Alta Jane Nestervich, 90, died Monday, July 30, 2018, at Springfield Health & Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by family.
She was born March 16, 1928, in Goffstown, New Hampshire, the daughter of Elphege L. and Hattie J. (Chambers) Olivier.
She attended schools in Manchester and in New York.
On March 4, 1949, she married Alexander Nestervich in Claremont, New Hampshire.
Mrs. Nestervich enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Survivors include three children Joseph Cantasano, of Lockport, New York, Alexander Nestervich, Valerie Matulonis, both of Springfield; three siblings Leon Olivier, Eva Trump, Gertrude Anderson; seven grandchildren, numerous great- grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband June 1, 2001, and three siblings Madeline Eckard, Frederick and Louis Olivier.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
Private burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield.
