Glenn D. Cordner, 67, of Springfield, died Sunday, June 18, 2017, after a long illness.
He was born March 9, 1950, in Summit, New Jersey, the son of John D. and Doris (Koithan) Cordner.
Coming from employment at Mid Maine Medical Center in 1984, he worked at Springfield Hospital, first as assistant administrator and then as CEO from 1997 to 2013, when he retired. Mr. Cordner was a board member of Brattleboro Savings and Loan.
He enjoyed identifying any tree or flower and was an avid reader.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly (Brown) Cordner, whom he married in 1985; two sons, Joshua and Jesse; two granddaughters; a sister, Nancy Cordner; and six cousins.
The celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 1, at the Church of Christ on Chester Road in Springfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Springfield Hospital, 25 Ridgewood Road, Springfield, VT 05156.
Arrangements are by Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
