Cleo L. Faye



Cleo L. Faye, 90, died Friday, May 12, 2017, at Springfield Health & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born Aug. 22, 1926, in Ware, Massachusetts, the son of Ervin E. and Nettie (Rogers) Faye.

He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II.

Mr. Faye married Thelma M. Rice in Randolph July 10, 1947. She died July 25, 2002.

He was employed at Moore Drop Forge Co. in Springfield, Massachusetts, for over 35 years.

He enjoyed fishing, all sports and playing bingo.

Survivors include five children, James Faye, of Pennsylvania, Roger Faye, of Oregon, Michael Faye, of Wisconsin, Ronald Faye, of Massachusetts, and Barbara Rorison, of Vermont; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and three nieces.

Mr. Faye was also predeceased by two siblings, Robert Faye and Alice Reynolds; and a son, Stephen Faye.

Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 22, at Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield

The committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, in Pleasant View Cemetery in Randolph, with the Rev. Sally Ann Selfies officiating.
