Danuta Antosiewicz, 60, passed away Thursday morning April 19, 2018, at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born Nov. 11, 1957, in Pajeczno, Poland, the daughter of Czeslaw and Maria (Wlodarczyk) Peciak. She received her education in Poland.
In 1995, she moved with her family from Poland to Vermont, living in North Springfield, Chester and Springfield.
She was employed in Housekeeping at the Sullivan County Health Center in Unity, a job that she loved.
She loved gardening, loved to travel and visit the ocean and loved spending time with her family. She loved crystals and her plants and took great pride in her home.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Springfield, Vermont.
She is survived by her husband, Kazimierz Antosiewicz; two sons, Marek and his wife Anna and Aleksander; two daughters, Katarzyna Garrett and her husband Wade and Alicja; three granddaughters, one grandson; two sisters, Mirka Rutkowska and Theresa Zmarzly; one brother, Marek Peciak, sister-in-law Jadwiga Trojanowski; and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Springfield, Vermont. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Springfield.
Friends may call at the Davis Memorial Chapel on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., prior to the Mass.
Contributions may be made in her memory to the Activities Fund at Sullivan County Health Care Center, 5 Nursing Home Drive, Claremont, NH 03743.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vermont.
