Nancy F. Burton, 82, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at Springfield Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born May 23, 1935, in Springfield, the daughter of Herbert B. and Lillian (Hutchinson) Fullam.
She graduated in 1953 from Springfield High School.
On Oct. 29, 1954, she married Robert K. Burton in Springfield.
Mrs. Burton was employed as a bookkeeper for several Springfield businesses over the years and as a customer service agent at several area banks.
She was an avid bowler and belonged to several leagues, and traveled across the country with a traveling team. She also enjoyed camping, playing card games and cribbage.
Survivors include her husband, daughter Kimberly Burton, son Dale Burton and brother Robert Fullam, all of Springfield; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, James, daughter Shirley; four siblings, Pearl Abbott, Donald "Charles," Malcolm and Richard Fullam.
The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield. The Rev. Malcolm Fowler, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Springfield, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Springfield Health & Rehabilitation Center, 105 Chester Road, Springfield, VT 05156.
Arrangements are by Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
