Annette C. Jennings, 85, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, New Hampshire. She was born in Hallowell, Maine, the daughter of Archie R. and Josephine (Whitten) Colburn. She graduated in 1949 from Hollis, New Hampshire, High School. On Sept. 16, 1951, she married Richard F. Jennings in Hollis. He died April 1, 2012.
Mrs. Jennings raised her family in Springfield and worked as a bookkeeper for Palmer Goodrich for several years. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Springfield, the Order of Eastern Star and volunteered with United Way.
Survivors include three children Stanley and Christina Jennings of Springfield, and David Jennings of Lebanon, New Hampshire; a granddaughter; and a nephew. She was also predeceased by a sister, Jannette Stacklin.
The memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 33 Fairground Road, Springfield, VT 05156. Arrangements are by Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
