Jeannette L. Morse, 51, of Windsor, died on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, losing her battle with cancer at Mount Ascutney Hospital. She was born Nov. 20, 1964, in Springfield, Vermont, the daughter of Elmer and Charlotte (Wilson) Lawrence.
She had been working for the Eagle Times as a delivery driver and had previously worked for Rogers Fabricare. Jeannette enjoyed hunting, fishing and her cats. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She and her husband had just celebrated their 25th anniversary.
The family includes her husband, Kenneth E. Morse Sr. of Windsor, whom she married Oct. 15, 1994; two sons, Thomas Sperry of Springfield and Timothy Wright Jr. of Lempster; her stepchildren, Kenneth Morse of Claremont, Tina Champney of Lempster and Jessica Morse of Bellows Falls; 17 grandchildren; three brothers, Anthony Lawrence, Kenneth Lawrence Sr., and Bryan Lawrence, all of Springfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and a grandson, Colby Eric Morse.
The family would like to thank Maggie Moore and the staff at Mount Ascutney Hospital for their excellent care of Jeannette.
A visiting hour will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St., in Claremont. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Dale Nicholas officiating. Burial will follow at Edminster Cemetery in Cornish. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
