She was born Nov. 4, 1922, in Springfield, the daughter of Erwin and Lillian (Wetherell) Jacobs. She graduated from Springfield High School.
She was married to Gerald Becker, who predeceased her.
She worked as a clerk and secretary in automotive sales and repair, as well as being a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, walking and her flower gardens.
She is survived by a son Terry Becker of Springfield, three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twin sister Jean Cross, two half-brothers and two half-sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016, at Oakland Cemetery in Springfield. The Rev. Gerry Piper will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Arrangements are by Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield. puf
