Lillian was born on October 24, 1928 to Floyd and Ellen Parkhurst. She graduated from Bellows Falls High School class of 1949. On July 12, 1949, she married Walter Anderson and together they raised 5 wonderful children.
Lillian was an active member of the Bartonsville, Andover and Pomona granges. She enjoyed music, doing puzzles, baking cookies, her cat of many years and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy.
Lillian is survived by her children Wayne, Cynthia, Tom and Lester, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, her two sisters Flora Anderson and Winifred Hitchcock, and one brother Floyd (Sonny) Parkhurst.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter, her son Alvin, her parents, her brother Winfield and her twin sister Laura.
Calling hours will be held Friday, January 8, 2016, at Adams Funeral home in Chester, Vt., from 5-7 p.m.
Please join us Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 11 a.m. for a Celebration of Lillian's Life at the Bartonsville Grange in Bartonsville, Vt. Burial Services will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meals on Wheels or Visiting Nurses.
