Virginia Helen Wooster, who was born November 5, 1919 to Helen Hall and Luther Melvin Baker in a farmhouse in Springfield, VT, died on July 4th in her Naples, Florida home. After deciding farm life wasn't for her, Virginia set off for the big city of Springfield, MA. While there,achance encounter with a handsome clerk Robert Wooster led to a romance that culminated in 63 years of marriage with four children, nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Ginny and Bob enjoyed traveling, dinner parties and Tea Dances with their group of close friends.
Virginia is survived by her sister Mary Begley, several nieces and nephews, and 2 dear friends, Claire Formwalt and Laura Vogt. Ginny never had a bad word to say about anyone and always looked for the best in people. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. The family acknowledges the tender end of life care given by Avow Hospice of Naples which allowed her to spend her last days in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family.
